I am so excited to be a part of the Rushton Community!  This will mark my 15th year in the Shawnee Mission School District, and I am eager to serve as the principal at Rushton Elementary. 

Our theme this year is Connecting 4 Success.  At Rushton, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. This year, we will intentionally foster the soft skills that empower students to succeed in school and in life. Through board games, collaborative challenges, and cross-grade level problem-solving teams, students will practice effective communication, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. As they learn to support one another, they will build stronger relationships and create a culture where everyone feels connected, valued, and inspired to grow together.
