Who is Rushton PTA, and What Do They Do?

Rushton PTA’s mission is to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for all families and the community, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. PTA’s goal is to encourage Rushton’s kids, support its staff, and foster positive relations between Rushton and the community. Rushton PTA operates in accordance with the KPTA Uniform Unit Bylaws and the Rushton PTA Standing Rules, and copies of both are obtainable from the current unit PTA President.

Through its fundraisers, PTA provides dozens of programs and events for Rushton staff, students and families. PTA is always looking for more individuals in each of those groups to be involved with what they work hard throughout the year to accomplish.

The Rushton PTA is governed by the Board of Managers, which is comprised of the officers of the Executive Board and the chairs of the Standing Committees. Please contact the school office with questions or for more information about PTA.
